Have you taken advantage of the Rec Center's Junior Olympic-size swimming pool?
The 25 yards by 25 meter pool has a beach-style zero-entry pool, a slide, a 1-meter diving board and a rock-climbing wall! Outside of the pool itself, you can schedule a pool party!

Scheduling & Fees

• To schedule a party, please contact Lindsay Nidiffer at 918-283-8226.

• All birthday parties will be charged a $25 non-refundable registration fee. This fee is in addition to the normally charged swimming rate.

• Registration fee must be paid prior to party reservation.

Rules

• Parties must be scheduled 7-10 days in advance. No exceptions.

• Groups are given a 2-hour maximum time slot, between the following hours: 

• Monday - Friday from Noon - 9 p.m.

• Saturday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

• Sunday from Noon - 7:30 p.m.

• Everyone must check in at the front desk as they arrive and the host or hostess must pay at this time. The observation deck (upstairs) will be available for those only wanting to watch.

• We request that the group swim first and the last half hour be used for treats and gift exchange.

• Everyone must be completely dry and dressed before leaving the pool area and locker room.

• Groups may begin decorating during the final 30 minutes of the session. You may bring food and cake also, but we do ask that you clean up the area before leaving. Trash cans will be provided.

• The table will be on our patio during spring, summer, and fall. During the winter, the table will be in our pool observation deck.

Child Care at the Rec Center

Did you know the Claremore Rec Center offers childcare to parents using the facility?

Hours

Child care is provided to parents who are using the Recreation Center facility during the following hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Rates

There is a charge of $1.50 per child per hour. There is a 2-hour maximum limit for using the child care center. You may pay in cash in the child care center or use a prepaid card. Prepaid cards are $9 each and are available at the front desk.

Registering

A parent, grandparent, or legal guardian must register a child. The guardian must present identification or a registration slip to pick up the child. Guardians must not leave the recreation center premises while their child is in the childcare center. If a parent should leave the facility, child care center privileges will be permanently revoked.

You may register a maximum of 2 babysitting children (children other than your own) at 1 time. This is to ensure the best possible service for our customers and their children.

Rules

Children must be clean, including clothing. Attendants are not responsible for diaper changing or bottle feedings. Should either require attention the parent will be called. If a child is being potty trained, please have him/her in a pull-up or plastic pants.
Any child showing symptoms of fever, rash, chicken pox, pink eye, vomiting, diarrhea, or head lice will not be allowed in the child care center. If you child has non-contagious symptoms, you must have a note from your doctor before your child can return to the center.
Please allow your child adequate time to adjust to the center. If a child becomes upset and cannot be calmed, the parent will be called after 10 minutes.
Unruly children will not be tolerated. Children who are repeatedly unruly will have their privileges revoked.
We reserve the right to refuse to admit any child. Other rules may be posted in the child care center. Rules, rates, and hours are subject to change.
